BINGO RULES The game starts when all the players buy bingo tickets. A bingo ticket is a card with a 5x5 grid. 5 columns on the card correspond to 5 letters of the name of the game "B-I-N-G-O". 24 numbers per each card are random from the limits of 1 to 75. The center of the card is an empty space. Bingo is played in halls. Bingo rules and payouts and play variations vary from place to place. |
| The Game The game begins and the caller selects numbers at a random and calls them. As soon as the caller calls one number, all the players mark it on their tickets. The winner is determined when one or several of the players complete the winning bingo pattern. The pattern can be different depending on the hall. As in one casino it can be a line, either vertical, horizontal or diagonal, a full house or any symbol, letter or digit. |

The Number calling
The numbers are announced quickly by the Caller. The caller keeps calling numbers until one or more players claim BINGO. Then the game
stops and the numbers are verified. If there is a winner, the prize is awarded and a new bingo game begins with new cards. If there is more
than one winner, the prize is split among all the winners.

The different winning combinations are:
- Line covering a horizontal line of five numbers on the ticket.
- Two Lines covering any two lines on the same ticket.
- Full House covering all fifteen numbers on the ticket.
When all the numbers required to win a prize have been marked off, the player shouts in order to attract the caller's attention.
There are no formal rules as to what can be shouted, but most players will shout "Yes" or "Bingo".

Terminology
- Waiting When someone only one number away from a bingo.
- Breaking the bubble The absolute minimum number of balls required to complete a Bingo pattern. The minimum number for a line is 5 numbers if it does not pass through the free space.
- Jumping the gun A player bingos before having a valid bingo. This happens when a player sees the next number on the screen before it has been called.
- False Alarm Term used when a bingo player calls bingo by mistake.
